Cameron’s Beach Campground is a busy, family-operated seasonal campground located in Iroquois Falls, Ontario. Our team works together to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment where guests can relax and enjoy their time outdoors.

Summer at the campground is fast-paced and hands-on. Every team member plays an important role in keeping daily operations running smoothly — whether supporting guests, maintaining facilities, preparing food in the snack shack, or helping care for the property.


Work Place Expectations:

Our campground operates in a fast-paced, hands-on environment during the summer season. Team members are expected to be reliable, follow procedures, communicate respectfully, and take pride in maintaining high standards across the property.


We look for employees who take initiative and notice what needs to be done without always needing to be asked.


Applicants who carefully read instructions and complete the full application process will be given priority consideration.


Work Environment: 

Many roles involve physical activity such as standing for extended periods, lifting supplies, cleaning facilities, and working outdoors. Summer operations can also be busy and fast-paced, especially on weekends and holidays.

At the same time, our team spends their days working in a beautiful outdoor setting with lake views, fresh air, and natural surroundings. Whether assisting guests from the office or working throughout the campground, you’ll be part of an environment that many people come here to relax and enjoy.

Applicants should be comfortable working in these conditions and take pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming campground for our guests.


Seasonal Committment:

Most positions run from May through Labour Day or October 1 depending on the role.

We prioritize applicants who can commit to completing the full season.

Weekend and holiday availability is required for most positions.

Position Overview

The Campground Office Administrator plays a central role in front-office operations and daily campground oversight.

This is not just a front desk role. In addition to guest service and administrative work, this position helps monitor property standards through washroom checks, rental cleaning audits, snack shack cleaning audits, and department metrics tracking.

For the right candidate, this role may offer future growth into a management position based on performance, leadership ability, and return from season to season.


Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and check in campers and guests
  • Process reservations, payments, and daily transactions accurately
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries professionally
  • Handle guest concerns calmly and respectfully
  • Enforce campground policies consistently
  • Conduct washroom inspections and complete light touch-up cleaning when needed between scheduled cleans
  • Complete rental cleaning audits before guest arrival and post-stay
  • Complete snack shack cleaning audits
  • Review department reports and flag concerns
  • Track and complete weekly departmental KPI sheets
  • Communicate operational issues to management promptly
  • Support daily coordination between departments as needed

• Competitive Hourly wage of $22

Position Overview

The Maintenance & Grounds Operator is responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and overall appearance of the campground property throughout the season.

This is a hands-on, outdoor role under the direction of the Chief Maintenance Officer. You will execute daily maintenance tasks, perform preventative inspections, and respond to operational issues across the property.  It is an execution-focused position responsible for completing assigned work to a high standard.


Key Responsibilities

  • Complete daily maintenance and grounds task lists
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections
  • Address plumbing, electrical, and minor repair issues
  • Assist with septic-related tasks and equipment maintenance
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment
  • Maintain roads, sites, and common areas
  • Perform landscaping, trimming, and grounds upkeep
  • Cut, split, and pile wood as required
  • Respond to urgent maintenance concerns
  • Document completed tasks and end of shift reports in Connecteam
  • Report supply or repair needs to management

Guest interaction is part of this role and must be handled professionally.

Position Overview

The Snack Shack & Facilities Attendant supports both snack shack operations and public washroom cleanliness throughout the season.

This position combines food service, cleaning, and daily operational accountability. All attendants share responsibility for maintaining standards, completing checklists, and participating in inventory tracking and facility upkeep.

This is a fast-paced, physically active role during peak season.


Key Responsibilities


Snack Shack

  • Prepare and serve food items according to standards
  • Work cash register if assigned
  • Follow food safety procedures
  • Complete end-of-shift cleaning checklist
  • Log daily inventory usage accurately
  • Report low stock or supply issues promptly
  • Participate in weekly inventory counts as scheduled
  • Participate in beginning- and end-of-season deep cleans (adult position)
  • Participate in the weekly deep clean if scheduled.
     

Facilities

  • Complete scheduled public washroom cleans
  • Clean and restock washrooms, including sinks, toilets, floors, and showers
  • Maintain supply levels for toilet paper, paper towel, and soap
  • Report maintenance issues immediately
  • Participate in beginning- and end-of-season deep cleans (adult position)
     

What This Role Requires


  • Willingness to clean public washrooms regularly
  • Ability to work in a hot, busy, fast-paced environment
  • Reliability during weekends and peak summer periods
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow checklists and procedures consistently

This is not a “stand around” summer job. It is a hands-on role in a structured environment with clear expectations.

  • $19/hour for snack shack shifts (adult) $17/hour for student

Position Overview

The Student Maintenance Worker supports daily maintenance and grounds tasks across the campground.

This is an outdoor, physically active role that includes grounds work, site clean-up, support with minor repair tasks, and general upkeep. It is best suited to someone who does not mind getting dirty and can work hard in changing weather conditions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily maintenance and grounds tasks
  • Help maintain roads, sites, and common areas
  • Complete grounds clean-up and garbage removal
  • Assist with minor repair and upkeep projects
  • Support landscaping and trimming work
  • Assist with opening and closing tasks as needed
  • Complete assigned checklists and task reports
  • Report maintenance concerns promptly
     

What This Role Requires

  • Willingness to work outdoors in heat and varying weather
  • Ability to lift, carry, and complete physical tasks
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to take direction and accept feedback

This is not a sit-down job. You will be active most of the day.

The Campground Night Patrol Attendant provides visible presence during quiet hours on the weekends, including long weekends and helps ensure a respectful, peaceful environment for overnight campers.

This role focuses on monitoring activity, addressing noise concerns professionally, and documenting incidents through Connecteam. It is a communication and observation role best suited for someone calm, mature, and confident.


Key Responsibilities


  • Conduct walking patrols of campground roads and common areas
  • Monitor high-traffic areas and respond to noise complaints
  • Reinforce quiet hour policies professionally
  • Document incidents and warnings in Connecteam
  • Travel between both campground properties as scheduled
  • Report repeated or serious issues to management

The Rental  Housekeeper & Facilities Attendant plays a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and overall experience of Cameron’s Beach Campground. Flexible hours based on rental turnovers and campground needs.  Some weekend work required during peak season.


This position is responsible for ensuring that all  washrooms, and rental units are clean, well-maintained, and ready for guests. The role also supports operations by assisting with facility upkeep and working alongside the team to keep the campground running smoothly.


This is an active, hands-on role best suited for someone who takes pride in their work, notices details, and enjoys working in a fast-paced outdoor environment. 


Key Responsibilities:


Rental Cleaning (Primary Responsibility)


  • Complete full turnover cleaning of rentals and cottages between guests
  • Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, floors, and common areas
  • Remove garbage and reset units for arrival
  • Follow detailed cleaning checklists
  • Report damages or maintenance issues immediately
  • Clean and prepare trailer rentals and bunkie between guest stays
  • Follow cleaning checklists to ensure consistency and quality
  • Restock supplies and report any damages or maintenance needs
  • Ensure each unit is guest-ready and meets campground standards
  • Participate in beginning- and end-of-season deep cleans
     

Washroom Facilities Cleaning


  • Complete scheduled public washroom cleans
  • Clean and restock washrooms, including sinks, toilets, floors, and showers
  • Maintain supply levels for toilet paper, paper towel, and soap
